Great place. Great drinks and food. Nice venue with garden. A tad expensive but everything is great.

Oh my god, this was awesome. Best Mexican I've had I AZ yet, and I've hit about 8 local places. I had shrimp stuffed rellenos. I highly recommend you give this spot a try.

They have very good food and cook it to order. The best Mexican restaurant in the valley as far as I'm concerned!!!

Really enjoyed our experience at Zocalo. Very good food and friendly service, as you'd expect from a business in the downtown Chandler area. We've already decided to go back to try more of the menu and enjoy the outdoor seating on a cool autumn evening in the desert.

Great food and lovely outside patio

I've been here twice now with my family and it's been a relaxing experience both times. Wait staff is always prompt and polite. Indoor and outdoor seating are both good. Food is good but of the few things I've had nothing stands out among Mexican food as exceptional. This place is worth your time and money though.

This restaurant serves good food. I would say that the pricing is a little high for the location. My tacos were really good. Service was good.

Our first visit and it was great. Had the green chili. Pork was tender and the gravy/sauce was really near perfect. With a cold beer and exceptional wait staff it was spectacular day.

Horrible service! Had a party of 7 people, our waiter barely checked on us throughout our entire visit, didn’t listen to two requests to not have certain food items on the meal, and didn’t ask to split check, just placed it down without asking if we were ready. Then the restaurant obviously had an automatic gratuity of 20%, which we did not feel our server deserved hinting to the awful service we received!

Best happy hour in all of downtown Chandler!!!

I have tried several times through phone call, email, and facebook message to try to make a reservation for a small reception and its been weeks and I have not received a response. I.have to say I'm not happy in regards to customer service.

Food excellent. Patio a must. Indoor too sterile. Waite staff good, but "B" team weak. Margherita is potenent, but too sweet!

EXCELLENT food, service and drinks. Will be going back, and highly recommend El Zocala. We went with a group of 10, everyone ordered something different and it was all great. The seared Ahi Tuna tacos were INCREDIBLE!

We have eaten here a number of times over the years. The food has always been good and we love the back patio.

We had dinner and and a side of All Night Fiesta 🎊 🎉 The staff was very friendly even though it was very busy and stressful for them. They accommodated us on the last hour of kitchen closing. The food was actually pretty good. I had a torta of carne asada it was really good. Everyone in my table seemed to enjoy what they ordered. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadilla. All good. And a great variety of cold affordable beers. All you want for party night. We stayed through the night for dancing. The DJ was good kept the party moving. Great times.

If you want to find the version of Mexico you wanted to leave behind, go here. Nothing but a waste is space in they middle of a place that is trying to grow and bring the economy to town.

The food and drinks were positively delicious!!! The service by ischmael (so sorry about spelling) was spectacular. We had to sit inside and would have preferred to sit outside but because we had a big party there wasn’t any room. We had ahi tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, taco salad, chicken and cheese quesadilla, and enchilada. Really outstanding food.

Great place to have a good time. Dancing to Power Drive, Live!! Great fun!! Perfect our door patio and the atmosphere is perfect.

First time in Arizona and this place did not disappoint! My server 'Johnny' was very personable and is becoming a nurse, so of you eat here make sure to take care if him!

Loved eating in their outdoor patio garden. A little nature oasis in the city, absolutely beautiful.Good food and nice service. Overall, a pleasant experience and we would eat here again.

Best Mexican food I've had in many years. Every thing ( appetizers, guacamole, queso, shrimp chili relleno, boracho beans, jalapeno margaritas) was terrific. Service was excellent. My new favorite place.

Very pleasantly surprised. First time visiting. Ice cold one served minutes after entering. Staff within earshot for any needs. Chimichanga's were tasty. Will go back to this place.

The garden in the back is a great place to sit and have a few drinks. The vegetarian options are nice here. The food is always fresh and hot.

El Zocalo was awesome in the day time it has a quiet lush patio and at night it transforms into a 90's hip-hop club inside and a Latin music dance floor outside in the back patio.

One of the best places in town for great food and service! Awesome atmosphere and very friendly people! Definitely recommend for lunch, dinner or late night dancing!

El Zocalo is a good place for legit Mexican grub. I got the 2 taco plate with rice and beans. It was really good. The salsa is good, the service is good and the vibe was good. The cost was pretty good as well. I believe on Friday and Saturday night they take all the tables and chairs out and it becomes a nightclub. Check it out, if you have a hankering for some tacos or beer.

I wasn't real pleased with El Z this time.Service was good but prices are high, and having to pay for chips n salsa kind of tweaked me.The food was okay but didn't have depth to the flavor. The salsa that came with the chips had barely any heat, so we asked for some hotter... which cost extra also. And though it had pretty decent heat, the flavors were still a little flat.The chimi I had was cooked well, but I think I salted and peppered it at least three times, even after dumping all the left over salsa that was on the table over it.It's been a couple years since the last time we're ate at El Zocolo, but I'm pretty sure the food was much more reasonably priced and definitely had better flavor.

Awesome place to eat at all times of day and an even better place for the nightlife as well!

Went there for drinks and enjoy the music. It had a good vibe. Drinks aren't all that.
